Manufactured from quality Premium Grade cedar shakes. Lengths 24-inch; thickness 5/8 inch. Intersecting roof surfaces at hips and ridges should be capped to ensure a weathertight joint. Use this precut Cedar Hip and Ridge Cap to finish off the peak and hips on your roof. This product is made from a 5/8 inch thick x 24 inch long Tapersawn Shake to match your shake job. It covers about 5 inch on each side of your hip or ridge. Recommended minimum roof slopes of 4/12 (approx. 5 degrees)
