Guided Hike Barbados outing starting at the historic St. Thomas Post Office in Welchman Hall, winding through cool gullies, rolling farmland and quiet backroads. Morning hikes start at 6:00 a.m. in four groups: Stop 'n' Stare (easy, ~6 miles), Medium (~8 miles), Brisk Medium (~10 miles) and Grin 'n' Bear (challenging, ~12 miles). An afternoon medium-pace hike starts at 3:30 p.m., and special moonlight hikes start at 6:00 p.m. (bring a torch).
Hands-on telescope clinic hosted by The Barbados Astronomical Society as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations. Bring your telescope and get help setting it up, focusing, and exploring the night sky. Beginners and children are welcome. Donation of BBD $50 per telescope, paid during the session. Spots are limited and registration is required via the online form.
